WEDNESDAY MORNING, 4AM

There a lot of way to see 4am
A lot of angles to approach it
4am its just not often widely seen
But more regularly now, so it would seem
I think I used to just sleep through it
never seeing or seeing to it
that 4am comes as it should
just appreciating that it probably would
But these days are different see
4AM is haunting me
making up for times I miss
Seeing the hour in sleepy bliss
And for those who enjoy exciting new sound in the folk tradition
Here’s a little something to think on
Wednesday morning 3AM, since 1964, immortalize
but Wednesday Morning 4AM, waking child and tired eyes.
Is it astounding Andy Rooney died and I realize it’s
just 60 minutes.
